Step 2. Authorization code & tenure

Get the EPP / authorization code from your current registrar. Most registrars provide it via "Get Auth Code" or "Domain Lock" settings.

How transfer works

1. Unlock your domain with your current registrar.
2. Get the EPP / authorization code — usually emailed to the registrant contact.
3. Submit the transfer request with the code on this page.
4. Approve the transfer email we send to the registrant address (within 5 days).
5. The domain moves to EpicHost and gets +1 year added to its registration.

Domains less than 60 days old or recently transferred (60-day ICANN rule) are not eligible.
